star rating  I did this hike in 4,5 hours, leaving at 4:30 in the morning and getting back at 9am for breakfast, but ideally it should take around 6 hours to avoid... read more hurries.
It is very well marked with red "T"s. The accumulated ascent is 772m and you can get rewarding views over the northern Vesterålen and Nyksund.
Since it is a circular route, you can make it from Nyksund or from Sto. In either town you can find restaurants and a cafe.
There is also a charter boat service from Nyksund to Sto (or the other way around), to avoid most of the ascent and make only the shore section. (but I found the mountain part more interesting).
